Two new CISSP books from Shon Harris

Shon Harris has just released two new CISSP references, namely the CISSP All-in-One Exam Guide, 6th Edition and CISSP Practice Exams, Second Edition.

At nearly 1,400 pages, CISSP All-in-One Exam Guide covers everything in the CISSP CBK (Common body of Knowledge).  In some cases, perhaps too much information, as I am not sure there is a need to discuss the Bell–LaPadula model in 2012, since it is my understanding it is not on the CISSP exam, nor in use anywhere.

The book also includes a CD-ROM with over 1,400 simulated practice questions.

The CISSP Practice Exams is a lite version if all-in-one guide, with each chapter having reference material plus about 25 practice questions.  The book also includes access to a web site with quizzes around all 10 domains and audio lectures from Harris on all the domains.

For those looking for a comprehensive set of guides to prepare for the CISSP exam, the CISSP All-in-One Exam Guide, 6th Edition and its companion the CISSP Practice Exams, Second Editionmakes for a good set of reference materials.
