User experience (UX) design plays a critical role in empowering people to protect their privacy by controlling their data. A human-centered design thinking approach to security can bring together what’s desirable to people, possibly with technology and regulatory context. If the security system is complex and not usable the user will never know the risk and today security needs the power of UX.
