Just got a copy of Defense against the Black Arts: How Hackers Do What They Do and How to Protect Against IT

This book reminds me of Hacking Exposed: Network Security Secrets and Solutions, except that it is much more hands-on focused, with an emphasis on Windows exploits.

You can view a sample chapter of the book here

For anyone looking for a intensive guide to hacking, countermeasures and use of hacking tools,Defense against the Black Arts: How Hackers Do What They Do and How to Protect Against IT looks to be a really good book.

Full review to follow.
